Emilee Sposato was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is passionate about helping her home community. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science pre-law from Lakehead University. Emilee is in her third year at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and expects to receive her Juris Doctor degree in June 2026. She has received numerous scholarships and awards based on academic success and for mentoring her fellow students. 

 

She has experience working for Lakehead University Community Legal Clinic as a student Caseworker and a Legal Administrative Assistant. As a placement student, she is most excited about learning about First Nations governance, child and family services law, and human rights. 

 

In her free time, she loves watching movies and spending time with her dog, Scooby Doo.
